Reflection Prompt 5:
How has technology impacted or changed your classroom assessment and evaluation? Has your data collection methodology changed with technology? If technology has not impacted your assessment and evaluation, what would you like to change? Discuss technology and your own productivity and professional practice.

Description: In this module we studied and discussed how technology can support assessment and evaluation, productivity and professional practices.

Impact:
I don't feel technology has had much of an impact on classroom assessment and evaluation. I do keep my grades on a spreadsheet program, but that is the extent. Some of this is because I am a first year teacher and as far as I am aware technology is not used by my co-workers either. We do not have programs utilized within the school. I have looked into different sites that offer management tools, however it always seem that the work outweighed the benefit. This module was a difficult one for me to participate because I felt I didn't have much to offer. However I did gain knowledge as to the possibilities that exist.

Intent
: Due to this module, I have already begun to incorporate technology into one of my class lessons and assessments. A fellow cohort member had told me about Jason.org. It is a website which has lesson modules which include not only lesson plans, activities, videos, but digital assessment tools and management. I have set-up a class to complete the Infinite Potential Module, which should take through to the end of the year. I am learning with my students as I try to figure out the best way to incorporated the materials for the maximum benefit of both the students and myself.
